Table No. 17 — The Omakase Table
Edition II | January
The second edition of Table No. 17 took place as a limited omakase table, bringing together a small group of women for an evening built around the ritual of shared dining.
Hosted at OJU, the experience unfolded as an eight-course omakase menu, where each dish arrived as a surprise — allowing the table to move slowly through the meal together.
With only a handful of seats, the evening felt intentionally intimate. Conversations drifted easily between introductions, stories, and the simple curiosity of meeting people outside one’s usual circles.
Like every Table No. 17 gathering, the phones stayed away and the focus remained on presence — on the quiet energy that forms when strangers sit across from one another with time, food, and openness.
What began as a table of unfamiliar faces slowly turned into something warmer by the end of the night — a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful conversations happen with people we’ve just met.
